The Prescription Center

I am not convinced that the vet’s office has anything left in their pharmacy. Paris and Butterscotch have been doing their very best to clean the vet’s stock out this last week. If there are any meds left at the vet’s office it is not for lack of trying on the part of our dogs!

too many meds

  1. Seeing that pic makes me wonder about the $$$$$$$$’s! It also makes me wonder whether you are aware that most “vet prescribed” drugs are also available at your local pharmacy and at a hugely reduced price. Ray is on “anxiety meds” and our cost at Target was about 40% less than at the vet.

    1. Very aware of options for drugs, since I used to work for a vet and have been a fulltime pet sitter for 8 years! Luckily most of our meds are pretty inexpensive.

  2. Goodness me seems that you are having a time of it…….aging or unwell pets do tend to gather many meds…much like we do…and it can be very stressful trying to get them in to them too!! ๐Ÿ™‚ hugs Fozziemum xx

    1. Luckily no problems getting meds in the pups – that part is easy! Hopefully everyone is settling down now. Love the vet staff and all, but…!

      1. Hahaha yep the pups here are a breeze..the girls..different story all together! and yes every time i leave the vet i say ..’no offence but hope we do not see you all for awhile”….:)

    1. We were actually planning to go out to dinner last night, and Paris had bloody diarrhea and had to go to the vet instead! Oh well…

  3. Oh Lord I feel the same sometimes and I read above your dogs are getting better and am happy to hear it.
