Sexing kittens isn’t easy, and hopefully I’ve gotten them all right. Time will tell!! Without further ado, here are the kittens and their new names. Gender will be obvious from most of the names.

Bebe’s eye is doing much better. I can’t say I love trying to put ointment in it four times a day. I am terrified I’ll poke her in that tiny eye, but so far so good. She has some very good lungs, however, and definitely lets me know she does not appreciate her meds.

Hannah is doing well too. It is hard to get a photo of her since she’s very cuddly and wants to be with me all the time, but I’ll work on that this coming week. So far everyone is doing well, gaining weight, getting more mobile, and as you can see, eyes are open. They will be running around the room, instead of hanging out on their blankets, in another week or so. For now, they still sleep a lot and nurse whenever Hannah permits, which is often. And they are all getting used to being handled and pet and will be wonderful companions for some lucky people down the line.

Happy Easter to all who are celebrating today!

  1. What precious little babies and I love their names……so happy they are doing well as is Mom (and foster Mom!). Thanks for sharing this special time with all of us. Happy Easter!

    Hugs, Pam

  2. A little ginger girl… How wonderful! They are all darling and their names are, too. Thankful that Bebe’s eye is improving. Barney (sweet picture) has a little look of concern… maybe about having to hold his own with all those sisters!
    Happy Easter!

    1. Barney is the most photogenic of the group, and a sweetie. He’s got one brother to hold off the three sisters with him! And the ginger one is really more buff than ginger, but couldn’t get the colors quite right. Happy Easter to you too.

  3. Bertie looks like my old Jake. Breezy is gorgeous. You call her a buff but she looks like a ginger in photos. (no, can’t adopt, can’t adopt, can’t adopt). Have a wonderful day. I hear it should be warm. We had spotty frost this morning. Boogers.

    1. The color on Breezy is off and couldn’t get it quite right. She really is buff and not orange. Hoping for another nice day for walking…gotta get those steps in since Monday looks like a soaker here.

      1. I know! My broke fitbit is still tracking but I can’t see how I’ve done without my cell. It will be another week before I get the new one. It spent 5 days in a warehouse in Indiana.

    1. I figured it would be easiest to pick a letter of the alphabet and go from there, so the B team it is!

  4. They are all precious. Barney is my favorite. He has that look on his face like my little Pumpkin. I can never tell if she is looking at me and is bored to tears or is in total disbelief of what I am saying to her. You took beautiful baby pictures. And glad Hannah is doing so well, too. Happy Easter to you.

    1. Me too, and I’m glad she’s looking good. Her eye looked really good this morning, so hoping I won’t need to do eye meds much longer.

  5. Eyes open! They are little darlings. Handling makes all the difference. ๐Ÿ™‚ Some folks are going to get to adopt some well-adjusted kitties- so lucky!
