I’ve been so crazy busy I haven’t had time to keep up here. There is such a pent up demand for travel that all of a sudden, after a year of quiet and boredom at times, I am very busy and kind of missing the quiet days. Though my bank account will be happy to see something happening there again!

Amelia and her kittens are doing well. The kittens are all over 1 1/2 pounds which is very good for five weeks old. Tucker, always the one ahead of the pack, is already eating canned kitten mousse from a plate. He is fearless! Sweet Pea will sometimes eat from my hand, and Benny won’t have anything to do with it yet. I’ve learned over the years that everyone has their own time for this, so I just keep presenting the choice each day. They are all still nursing, but the process of moving them off that is underway.

They get their first distemper vaccine next week, and they have all moved to a big kitty litter box and not a small carton cover anymore. They are growing up quickly!

Amelia and Benny have an adopter, a client of mine, which means I get to pet sit them in the future which is a win/win in my book. And someone is coming to meet Tucker next Tuesday and I will be surprised if it isn’t a fit. All of this before the kittens have even been made available for adoption on our website, which is wonderful. They won’t even be available until June.

That’s the update for now. Pictures are always better than words, so here are the kittens and Amelia.

    1. The surprise is actually that 2/4 have a home and the third a probable one, and none of them have been posted for adoption yet! Most unusual. Sweet Pea won’t have trouble getting a home when the time is right. They don’t get their surgeries until mid June!

    1. I don’t have any worries about finding Sweet Pea a home – she’s super social.

      1. I love super social. I laid down for 20 minutes. Within 5 minutes I had Gus and Sasha on top of me. I’m not big enough for two huge cats! fortunately they have each other too.

  1. Such adorable little ones and the fact they are finding forever homes before they’re even ready for one is simply wonderful…………….

    Hugs, Pam
