Gracie has three weeks of two classes back-to-back. Rally class, followed by NoseWork 2. It’s a lot for any dog, and especially a young pup. This is Gracie, Saturday afternoon, still zonked. Not that I’m complaining, mind you! And it’s awfully cute.
I haven’t used the “too bad for you” strategy in probably fifteen years. I learned it from a wonderful dog trainer when we adopted a dog (Paris, lab mix) who jumped all over us all the time. Seventy pounds of dog landing on you with gusto is a bit much, especially when you’re only 5…Read more »
